Social enterprise ‘extremely disappointed’ to have to cancel graduation
People have been left feeling “extremely distressed” after home addresses were shared on social media and communication apps following last night’s disorder, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has said.
“We have received phone calls from a number of families, house owners, neighbours and members of the wider community who are extremely distressed as a result of this reckless activity,” a spokesperson said.
In a statement it says highlighting properties in this way is “totally unacceptable” and may be a criminal offence.
“This is unacceptable. It is putting lives at risk and has to stop.”
